Ennui is a hand-tufted wall-hung textile sculpture of Pixar’s most relatable Inside Out 2 character, rendered in fiber with the same cool detachment she brings to every scene. Minimalist, moody, and unmistakably her. For the collectors, the film lovers, and anyone who’s ever felt too much by feeling nothing at all.
Artist Notes: Ennui got me. Out of all the new emotions in Inside Out 2, she’s the one I had to make. There’s something about that quiet, heavy feeling, not sadness, not anger, just a deep, elegant whatever, that deserved to be in fiber. I kept the design minimal because she would have wanted it that way.
