A $50 non-refundable deposit holds your spot and begins design + tufting.

Your piece is created in my studio with layered texture, careful carving, and a soft finish.

Final Payment & Delivery

Every custom piece is priced based on size, complexity, and materials. Minimum commission: $85 (includes $50 deposit). Your exact quote is provided within 24–48 hours after you submit your request.

The custom request form will guide you through a few key questions so I can quote your piece accurately:

  • Type of piece: wall art, altar mat, meditation mat, desk pad, pillow, footstool, etc.
  • Approximate size: mini, small, medium, large, or specific dimensions in inches.
  • Design idea & vibe: Afrocentric, anime, BL, abstract, spiritual, soft, bold, or a mix.
  • Colors you love (or hate): so I can match your space and personality.
  • Budget range: so I can recommend size and detail level that make sense.
  • Timeline / due date: especially if this is a gift or for a specific event.
  • How you found KAT: Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Google, Pop-Up & Grow, friend, etc.
  • Your contact info: so I can send your quote and follow up with clarity.

The more honest and detailed you are, the better I can design something that truly feels like you.

Turnaround, Shipping & Pickup

Most custom pieces are completed in 10–21 business days, depending on size, carving, and complexity. If you have a firm deadline, include it on the form so I can confirm availability.

Shipping: I ship within the U.S. using USPS or UPS with tracking. Your piece is wrapped with care and includes a printed care card.

Local Pickup: If you’re in the DMV area, you can often pick up at Pop-Up & Grow (Shops at Waldorf Center). I’ll confirm pickup options in your quote email.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I see a mockup before you start?
For most custom pieces, I begin tufting after deposit approval. If you’d like a digital mockup for a complex design, mention it in your request and I can provide one for an additional fee.
What if I need my piece sooner than 10–21 days?
Rush orders may be available depending on my current workload. Include your deadline in the form and I’ll let you know if I can accommodate it. Rush orders may include an additional fee.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently I ship within the U.S. only. If you’re international and interested in a custom piece, reach out and we can discuss options.
Can I recreate a sold-out piece?
Absolutely! Browse the Sold Out Archive for inspiration, then submit a custom request with the piece you’d like recreated. You can also request different colors or sizes.
What if I change my mind after paying the deposit?
The $50 deposit is non-refundable once design work and tufting have started. Please review the Refund Policy before submitting your request.

Handmade variations: Every KAT piece is hand-tufted and carved by me. Slight variations in line, texture, and color are part of the artwork, not defects.
