Freedom looks like this.
Ethereal Wings is hand-tufted functional fiber art featuring a butterfly in motion, sculpted in violet, teal, coral, and fuchsia against a smoky gray base. Deep carving gives the wings movement and dimension, creating a piece that feels soft, bold, and alive.
Artist Notes: The butterfly kept showing up in my sketchbook during a season of change. I wasn’t planning to tuft it; it just needed to exist. The violet and fuchsia bring the drama, the teal brings the calm, and the smoky gray gives everything room to move. I wanted the wings to feel like they were actually in motion. I think they do.
