The sea turtle has always carried the wisdom of slow, intentional movement. This hand-tufted piece honors that energy in red, blue, green, purple, and yellow, multiple shades of each, deeply carved against a clean white base that makes every color pop. It’s bold without being loud, spiritual without being heavy. Floor it, wall it, altar it.
Artist Notes:
The sea turtle is one of my favorite symbols, ancient, unhurried, and completely at home in the current. I wanted the color palette to reflect that richness: not one shade of each color but many, layered and carved so the piece has real depth. The white base was intentional; it gives every color room to breathe. This one is for the people who move at their own pace and don’t apologize for it.
