A butterfly mid-flight, carved in violet, teal, coral, and fuchsia against a smoky gray base. Every tuft is hand-sculpted to create movement and depth, the kind of piece that feels alive on the wall. Bold enough to be a statement, soft enough to belong in a sacred space.
Artist Notes:
The butterfly kept showing up in my sketchbook during a season of change. I wasn’t planning to tuft it; it just needed to exist. The violet and fuchsia are the drama, the teal is the calm, and the smoky gray base holds all of it without competing. I wanted the wings to feel like they were actually moving. I think they do.
