Fire and Water is a hand-tufted yin-yang sculpture where red and yellow flames meet light blue and white water, each side holding the other in check, neither winning, both necessary. The ancient symbol of balance, rendered in fiber and color that actually means something. Floor it, wall it, let it anchor a space built for intention.
Artist Notes: I kept coming back to the yin-yang because it’s the most honest symbol I know; it doesn’t pretend opposites don’t exist, it shows how they need each other. The fire side burns red and gold. The water side breathes in blue and white. Together they make a whole. This piece is for the spaces where you go to find yours.
