I’ll respond within 24–48 hours with pricing and timing. After you approve the quote, KAT sends your deposit invoice. Payment holds your spot and begins design work.
I Create It for You
I tuft, carve, and finish your piece by hand. You’ll receive final photos plus shipping or local pickup options.

Minimum custom commission: $85. Character or portrait work, detailed logos or lettering, 8+ colors, highly carved designs, unusual shapes, multi-piece sets, specialty finishing, and rush deadlines can raise the quote. You’ll always receive the final price in writing before production begins.

Standard Deposit
No payment is due with your request. After quote approval, KAT sends your deposit invoice. Projects quoted at $500 or more may require a 30% deposit; the first $75 counts toward that amount.
Business Days
Typical completion window for most custom pieces. Larger, highly detailed, or approved rush requests can vary.
Local Pickup
Pickup may be arranged at Pop-Up & Grow in Waldorf. Shipping or pickup details are confirmed with your quote.

Custom Questions
Can I request a different version of a piece I saw on the site?
Yes. Use it as inspiration and tell me what you want changed—colors, size, wording, or other personal details. Your version will still be created as its own handmade piece.
Can I see a mockup first?
For most commissions, work begins after the design direction and deposit are approved. If you need a digital mockup for a more complex design, mention it in your request; an additional fee may apply.
What if I need it by a specific date?
Put the date on your request. Rush work depends on the current commission schedule and may include an additional fee.
What if I change my mind after the deposit?
The deposit becomes non-refundable once design work has begun. Review your approved quote and project details carefully before payment.
Will my piece include a Certificate of Authenticity?
Yes. One-of-one original fiber art and custom commissioned pieces include a signed KAT Certificate of Authenticity documenting the artwork and its creation.
